Dr. Shyamsundar Premanand Das is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, IBBI Registered Valuer for Securities or Financial Assets, and Insolvency Professional based in Mumbai.
He founded S P Das & Co, Chartered Accountants, in 2015, after working with chartered accountancy and consultancy firms. His valuation work runs to more than 500 assignments: share issues and conversions, purchase price allocation and intangible assets, securitised loan pools, minority interests, brands, family settlements, and valuations under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
His forensic and transaction reviews draw on formal training in criminal law and forensic science. His academic background spans a PhD and MPhil in Economics, an MBA in Finance and a Master's degree in Criminal Laws & Forensic Science.
He has taught at MET Institute of PGDM, Mumbai, and has written four textbooks on finance and economics.
